Shari'ah Law
Punishments include imprisonment, flogging, amputation, execution by beheading, public stoning, hanging, or firing squad.
Punishment for thievery is amputation of the right hand. Multiple amputations are carried out for the crime of highway robbery.
For persons convicted of less serious crimes, such as
alcohol related offenses or being alone in the company of
an unrelated person of the opposite sex, the offenders are punished by being flogged with a cane.
Adultery is punishable by public stoning.
In Shari'ah court, a man's testimony equals that of two women.
Crimes against Muslims receive harsher penalties than
crimes against non-Muslims.
Muslim women are prohibited from marrying non-Muslims, but Muslim men are permitted to marry Christians and
Jews, as well as Muslims.
If a Muslim strays from Islam they must, in accordance
with Islamic laws, be prosecuted, taken into custody by force and be called on to repent. If necessary, his or her return to Islam is to be "helped along" with torture.
Those who do not embrace Islam and wish to convert to another religion have, according to Islamic law, forfeited their life and are to be put to death by the state.

Muslim Students Association: Spawned by the Muslim Brotherhood, whose philosophy has been made clear: "God is our objective, the Koran is our Constitution, the Prophet is our leader, struggle is our way, and death for the sake of God is the highest of our aspirations."
Julio Assad Pino: A convert to Islam, and associate professor of history at Kent State University in Ohio, Pino considers homicide bombers martyrs, the U.S. Armed Forces butchers, and is or was at one time part of an Internet blog that urges readers to join the Islamic resistance. Also in a Columbus Dispatch
piece, Pino described himself as the "most dangerous Muslim in America."
Khalid Chahhou: A Muslim Spanish teacher at Smithfield-Selma Senior High School in Smithfield, North Carolina, Chahhou assigned the students in his class
to a worksheet, in which they were to translate words, and then locate the words inside a word-search puzzle. Some of the words (and sentences) the
students found in the puzzle included 'Kill', 'Destroy America', and 'Allah help destroy this body of evil making humanity miserable'.
Minhaj Arastu: In his capacity of history teacher at Irmo High School in Columbia, SC, Arastu, who at the same time was the main contact for the Columbia,
South Carolina branch of CAIR, required students to create a pamphlet which would teach people about Islam. According to a complaint received by
Anti-CAIR from a parent of an Irmo H.S. student, Arastu had an "Orthodox Christian" priest speak to the class… who informed the students that all religions
are based on Islam, and that the United States is a "Judeo-Christian-Muslim" nation…according to the beliefs of the founding fathers.
Young Muslim students enrolled in Islamic schools (Madrassas) in the United States, ones like the Islamic Saudi Academy in Alexandria, Virginia and others are being taught that "the Day of Judgment can't come until Jesus Christ returns to Earth, breaks the cross and converts everyone to Islam, and until Muslims start attacking Jews." They are also taught that "all religions other than Islam are false, including that of the Jews and Christians", that it is "better to shun and even dislike Christians, Jews and Shiite Muslims," and that it is "okay to steal from or hurt whoever is non-Muslim (kuffar)".
Minnesota: Somali attacker says he doesn't like white Americans.
Florida: Two Muslim firemen, their salaries paid for by Florida taxpayers, refuse to ride on a fire engine that was decorated with the Stars and Stripes.
Minnesota: Somali Muslim cab drivers at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International airport have refused to transport passengers presumed to be carrying
alcohol, and blind passengers accompanied by seeing-eye dogs.
Louisiana: A Muslim cab driver named Mahmoud Awad physically pulled his female passenger out of the taxi he was driving because she had her guide dog
with her. Awad yelled "no dog, no dog, get out, get out." As he was manhandling the female passenger, Awad managed to damage her already broken
wrist. He pled guilty to battery, and was told by the judge during sentencing that his actions were "a total disgrace".
Ohio: A Muslim cab driver named Hassan Taher refused to allow the guide dog of Annie McEachrin, a passenger who has been blind since birth, into his taxi, citing religious reasons. CAIR defended Taher when McEachrin complained to the city, stating that the driver "acted in accordance with his religious beliefs."
California: CAIR calls for billboards deeming Osama bin Laden "the Sworn Enemy" to be removed, for "being offensive to Muslims."
Florida: A female convert to Islam sues the Florida State Highway Department for not permitting her to keep her face covered in her driver license photo.
Ohio: Muslim cab drivers ignore posted signs barring anyone from exiting their vehicles in restricted areas, get out and pray, then whine about being fined.
Tennessee: A Muslim sues Whirlpool over prayer time, and loses.
California: A Muslim, and company Vice-President files, and loses a "wrongful termination" lawsuit against Advanced Micro Devices Inc.
Florida: Lina Morales, an employee at a Florida company with Muslim ties, was fired for eating a bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich in the lunchroom.
Colorado & Nebraska: Hundreds of Muslims walk off the job at JBS Swift & Co. plants over a prayer dispute, which left non-Muslim employees to handle
the extra workload. Ultimately, many of the Muslim employees, mostly Somali, were fired for repeatedly leaving work without approval.
Minnesota: A Muslim family visited a Long John Silver's restaurant and complained that the children's meal they ordered came with a toy that included a
small notepad with the phrase "Build with Jesus" written at the top. CAIR injected itself, demanding that Yum! Brands, parent company of LJS investigate
the incident, offer the family a written apology, review the toy distribution policy for all restaurants, and participate in CAIR's sensitivity training.
Michigan: Imad Fadlallah, principal at Dearborn's Fordson High School, fires Christian wrestling coach Gerald Marsazalek after a student wrestler converts
from Islam to Christianity. Marsazalek coached wrestling for 35 years at Dearborn Public Schools, amassed more than 450 wins, was inducted into the
Michigan High School Athletic Association Hall of Fame, and had been named "Sportsman of the Year" by the All-American Athletic Association.
Drafted by the NBA's Denver Nuggets in 1990, American born Chris Jackson converted to Islam, and became known as Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf. In 1996
he was suspended for refusing to stand for the playing of the "Star Spangled Banner" before games, saying it "conflicted with his Muslim beliefs." Booed
and jeered, saying it was "nearly impossible to play in the U.S. after that," he took his game elsewhere.
Florida: Nuha Mohammed Al-Doaifi, a Saudi Arabian national, is charged with battery with a hate crime enhancement for repeatedly spitting on several
people at a Walmart store. Upon her arrest, Al-Doaifi admitted to spitting on people because "Americans are pushing us around."
New York: 15 Muslims are arrested after a brawl ensued at an amusement park over safety rules that prohibited the wearing of headgear on certain rides.
The park's management stated that the organizer, the Muslim American Society, was warned ahead of time about the headgear ban.
